Située place Longemalle, à Genève, la Galerie Elia occupe un ancien local commercial transformé en galerie d’art contemporain. Le projet, livré en 2022, vise à reconfigurer l’espace dans une écriture sobre et contemporaine, capable d’accueillir des expositions temporaires tout en affirmant une identité spatiale forte.
Notre intervention porte sur la transformation globale du lieu, intégrant le dessin des sols, l’éclairage scénographique et les dispositifs spatiaux. Le projet s’appuie sur l’utilisation de matériaux durables, avec un sol en résine biosourcée, des panneaux de miroirs en verre recyclé d’origine française, ainsi que l’installation de panneaux Barisol au sous-sol.
L’ensemble est pensé pour offrir une grande flexibilité d’exposition et une mise en valeur précise des œuvres, notamment celles de Stéphane Breuer, dans un environnement maîtrisé et lumineux.
