The Beautreillis project involves the renovation of a 75 sqm apartment located in an 18th-century building, in the heart of the Le Marais. The intervention aims to preserve the authenticity of the space while enhancing its comfort and adapting it to contemporary uses.
The windows were replaced identically in order to maintain the original design and proportions, while traditional wall finishes were restored to recover the quality of the existing surfaces. Custom-made wood joinery, sourced from France, was designed for the dressing area and discreetly integrated into the interior architecture. The floors of the bathroom and W.C. were refreshed, following a logic of material continuity and restraint.
The project as a whole is based on a measured approach, attentive to detail, where each intervention seeks to extend the history of the space without freezing it in time.
