CSL 02 is a modular table in recycled Black Marquina marble, developed around a study of balance and imbalance. It relies on a simple mechanical assembly system, where the two elements interlock to form a self-supporting structure.
A vertical marble pillar supports an interlocked horizontal slab, creating a minimal composition in which gravity becomes a guiding principle of construction.
The raw materiality is left visible as it is. Surfaces, masses, and proportions contribute to a deliberately primitive language, where constructive simplicity engages in dialogue with a form of sculptural brutality.
The piece adopts an essential approach to furniture, focused on weight, stability, and the presence of materials.
