TBL 01 is a terracotta and glazed lava table developed in collaboration with the studio Pierre Versace, based in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The piece draws on the workshop’s expertise in glazing techniques and the use of specialized kilns that produce durable surfaces with subtle variations.
The design is based on a simple and adaptable composition: a circular tabletop bordered by a subtle edge that structures the form and softens the floating effect. The three legs form a stable base conceived as a trinity, allowing different tabletop diameters while maintaining the same constructive logic.
The project develops an approach attentive to materiality and use, combining the robustness of terracotta with a restrained and evolving design language.
