Hotel Tropea project involves the complete renovation of a three-star hotel located in Tropea, Calabria. The intervention develops an approach attentive to the existing heritage, through architecture and interior design rooted in local materials and regional craftsmanship.

The project is based on the exposure of the original stone structure, combined with lime-plastered walls, reclaimed terracotta flooring, and locally produced ceramics. Olive wood joinery from Calabria, custom-made textiles, and a selection of furniture created with local artisans and sourced from antique markets contribute to the identity of the space.

The approach is measured, where each intervention seeks to extend the character of the building while responding to the contemporary uses of hospitality. Completed in 2018, Hotel Tropea offers an experience deeply anchored in its territory, between architectural rehabilitation and hospitality.
